ISO 9001:2015 Quality System

Fael Spa got the C.S.Q. - I.Q.N.E.T. quality certification according to UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 rule. It’s an important recognition of the quality processes which allows the Customers to be absolutely confident in the faithful fulfillment of commitments and the continuity of business relationships. These are the main points of the business policy to which FAEL Spa cannot absolutely renounce.
IQNet (International Certification Network) is the largest certification network in the world. CISQ (Italian Certification of Company Quality Systems) and CSQ (Certification of Quality Systems) belong to this network and they have certified that Fael quality system complies with ISO 9001:2008, for the design, manufacturing and marketing of lighting fixtures.

Environmental Certification System ISO 14001:2015

Fael Spa has obtained the certification of the C.S.Q. - I.Q.N.E.T. according to the UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 standard.
It is an important recognition of environmental attention in the management of productive and non-productive business processes, which allows customers to have absolute peace of mind regarding the environmental impact of the production of the products ordered and purchased.

 Occupational health and safety management Certification System ISO 45001

 Energy Management Certification System ISO 50001

Fael Spa has obtained the certification of Energy Management Certification System certification according to UNI EN ISO 50001 standard is under way, confirming the systematic research of the Company of continuous improvement of energy performance.

Photometric laboratory accreditation

Fael LUCE LAB Light laboratory, which includes the in-house technical laboratories operating according to the international standard ISO 17025, is accredited by UL International Italia Srl for electrical safety tests according to EN 60598-1, 60698-2-3 and 60598-2-5 standards and for tests of measurement and presentation of photometric data of lamps and luminaires according to EN 13032-1 and 13032-4 standards.
This is a further recognition by the international Quality Standards community of the excellence of the systems and processes that Fael applies to the design and production of all its products.

CE Marking

The CE marking placed on the product and on the package means conformity to the European Community standards: LV/73/23/ CEE - 93/68/CEE - 2006/95 CE EMC 89/336/ CEE - 92/31/CEE - 93/68/ CEE - 2004/108/CE.

ENEC Marking

ENEC is the European mark for the certification of lighting products and related accessories. For admission to the brand, Fael products are subjected to tests carried out by a third party who has the right to use its own laboratories and inspectors for the regular visits to the company. The certification body (accredited according to ISO/IEC 17025:2012 - Conformity assessment - Requirements for the operation of various types of bodies performing inspection) affixes the ENEC certificate only after the product is in conformity with the directives and standards in force in the European Community. The products that satisfy the “ENEC AGREEMENT” have a valid certification for all the signatory countries ENEC, which currently are:

ENEC PLUS Marking

Fael LUCE street and urban lighting products are ENEC+ certified.
Based on IEC/PAS 62722-1, IEC/PAS 62722-2-1 and IEC/PAS 62717 performance standards, obtaining ENEC+ certification means high performance of LED luminaires.

 ZHAGA D4i

Fael LUCE street and urban lighting products are Zhaga D4i certified.
Zhaga-D4i certification combines the Zhaga Book 18 version 2 outdoor connectivity specifications with DiiA’s D4i specifications for intra-luminaire DALI. This certification covers all the critical features including mechanical fit, digital communication, data reporting and power requirements within a single luminaire, ensuring plug-and-play interoperability of luminaires (drivers) and peripherals such as connectivity nodes.
Zhaga D4i is a joint certification program between Zhaga and DALI Alliance (DiiA).

 Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) - Type III

Fael LUCE PROXIMO series comply internationally with PEP Ecopassport environmental declaration programme in accordance with ISO14025, ISO14040 and ISO14044 standards.

Safety

Fael products are manufactured in compliance with the safety rule CEE 73/23 and will not compromise the safety of people, domestic animals or property, if correctly installed, in accordance with their intent, and properly mounted.

ROHS 2 - 2011/65/EU Directive

All lighting fixtures manufactured by FAEL Spa, comply to the European directive "2011/65/EU ROHS 2 - Restriction of dangerous substances in electrical and electronical equipments".

Minimum Environmental Criteria

The Minimum Environmental Criteria are the environmental requirements defined for the various phases of the purchasing process, aimed at identifying the best design solution, product or service from an environmental point of view along the life cycle, taking into account market availability.
